This wood-fired stoneware tea ceremony bowl by Hiroaki Wada holds the emblem found on kyougen performers' kimono.  It is done in an ash glaze with soft gradations from rust to earthy brown.  When filled with whipped matcha green tea, the contrast is quite sublime.

See Hiroaki Wada & Tozan Wada's Daimaru Gallery Exhibition pictorial for more from their 2006 collection.

A wooden presentation box will be custom made to order and signed by the artist.  Delivery time for this item is 2 weeks.
