This tea ceremony bowl is created by ceramic artist Tozan Wada of Kotoura Kiln.  It is hand formed without the aid of a potter's wheel and low-fired in a charcoal burning kiln made especially for Raku ware.  Formed from porous white dosembo clay, the bowl is surprisingly lightweight and quite delicate.  A display cloth (fukusa) is included with this piece.
