Through constant experimentation, Kamada Koji has elevated tenmoku, a technique originating in China during the Song dynasty, to an even higher level of refinement with the introduction of several signature glazes, each one adding another facet to the incredible diversity of his art.

These striking green tea cups are done in Mr. Kamada's signature ginsho tenmoku.  The high iron content in the glaze produces its distinctive brushed metal-like finish, while the golden rim and low-relief details (tsuisen) add a sense of luxury and refinement.  The set promises to become a green tea lover's guarded treasure.

For green tea (hot or cold) or any beverage of choice.
